The Balmaceda and Serrano Glacier navigation can be combined with the Serrano River navigation, ending in the Torres del Paine National Park.
Accommodation at Hosteria Balmaceda:
In the Puerto Toro sector, there is the Monte Balmaceda inn, which can only be reached on horseback or by boat, it has a wonderful view of the Serrano glacier. There is the possibility of interrupting the navigation Balmaceda and Serrano Glaciers and staying at the Inn and the next day, continuing the navigation back to Puerto Natales (Additional cost for accommodation).
Note: In case of strong winds, navigation can be cancelled. In this case, 100% of the cost is returned.
For this navigation it is necessary to present a valid Mobility Pass at the time of making the reservation.
Program hours:
As of April 1st, the presentation at the agency will be at 08:00 hrs, sailing from Puerto Bories at 09:00.
07:00: Presentation at the May 21 agency or in Puerto Bories.
08:00: Sailing by boat from Puerto Bories to the Balmaceda and Serrano glaciers, through the Fjord of Ultima Esperanza, sighting of beautiful mountains, waterfalls, ranches and Patagonian birds.
10:00: View Balmaceda Glacier.
10:30: Hike to the Serrano Glacier Viewpoint in the Bernardo O’Higgins National Park.
14:30: Arrival in Puerto Natales approximately.
